Usually when you are required to do First Aid Training, its a bore and you go through the motions. However, this is the first time where I have been actively engaged and learnt some insightful tips on First Aid that I have never learnt before.
I feel confident that I could be put into a perilous situation and be capable to manage the situation calmly. My knowledge has been expanded and developed greatly in this session.
The delivery of the training and background experience of the trainer gave me reassurance that I was in capable hands. My time was worthwhile updating my first aid knowledge alongside practicing CPR.

We try to make it easy to get ahead with our courses. However, some courses do have prerequisites that have to be satisfied. For more information, visit the page for the course that you are interested in.
We have a little of something for everyone with our courses. We understand that there’s no one-size for learning and that’s why we offer courses that are face to face (in-person) as well as online and self-paced. As the options vary, it’s best to look at the specific course you are interested in to see the delivery modes that it has available.
Depends! Nationally recognised training courses (known as accredited courses) do have timeframes. You need to complete this training within a set time frame in order to receive the qualification. We tell you about the timeframe when you select the relevant course. For unaccredited courses there will generally be a 12 month period to complete the course. However, you should always look at the specific course to learn more about the timeframes.
Everyone! Well, sort of! There are prerequisites for courses so if you don’t meet those you will need to speak to one of our learning advisers who can help you work out a way to get the skills that will enhance your career. If there’s no prerequisite normally anyone can enrol provided they have adequate literacy and numeracy skills. Each course page identifies who the course is for so if you need more information head on over to the relevant course and check out the requirements.
